Bird Game 1
All jokes aside a brilliant game and I would absolutely play if it was a full thing
Could you upload a new build of this game without the song that appears here at 17:37 as it DMCAs? We want to include the game in a pack for Vinny's stream at some point.
Only that track specifically is getting claimed? All of the music is from AudioJungle from the same artist so I'm surprised that it's getting DMCA'd at all. But yes we can upload a new build with whatever changes you need!
Yup only that track. And only on YouTube. it didn't get claimed on Twitch. It's getting claimed as some other track that sounds different so it's a bug in YouTube's system I think. Just let me know when you have the new build with it removed! It will be included in the 2nd or 3rd ShroomJam stream.
Hey! Sorry for the delay on this. We had the idea of adding in some custom-made music to replace the problematic track, and it's taking a little longer than we anticipated. When would we need to have the build updated to have it included in one of the streams? We can update it ASAP if needed, but we would really like to get the custom music in if possible!
So we would like a build with only the offending song removed for the stream. Working on new music now for it would be work outside of the allotted game jam time window and would be considered extra work. Allowing that wouldn't be fair to the other jammers. For stream, we would like a build with only the offending DMCA song removed. You have until next Sunday (12/14) to provide that. If you would like to make an additional separate build including the custom music, you are free to do that but it won't be shown on stream. If you do that just make sure they are labeled properly.
That's totally fair. We figured since the voting period had ended and it's wasn't a significant change to the game itself that it would be allowed. And we certainly wouldn't have made any changes had the music not been causing problems in the first place.

Really impressive game. It looks so good, and the animations and menus are nice and juicy. The theme is fun and I like the birds as well.
If you want a fun challenge, try beating it without the attack that cuts horizontally across the whole screen!
I won second try with that attack but have yet to win without it.
